Review what the Arabic message makes the customer believe

A receipt message can be technically accurate in one language and interpreted as approval in another. Review the phrase against the actual event, not only against a dictionary equivalent.

Start with a fictional document request

The server has saved a file reference, but nobody has checked its contents. Ask a qualified Arabic reader to explain what the proposed message promises. Then identify the event the application can establish: receipt, review started or decision completed.

Keep those states distinct in page text, email and staff views. If the material changes, the version and review relationship matter independently of display language.

Follow the whole journey

Review the service description, document label, form, error and confirmation together. An Arabic page leading to an English attachment may be appropriate if the destination is labelled honestly. A language switch should point to a genuine counterpart or explain the alternative.

Mixed references need realistic testing. Copy an English code from an Arabic sentence, paste it into the receiving form and compare the stored value. Visual fluency alone does not establish that the record survived.

Assign maintenance

Name the owner who identifies affected versions when a service fact changes and the reviewer who approves their meaning. Technical communication is normally English; language review is a separate arrangement.

See bilingual websites and RTL interfaces for the engineering scope.

Worked example: the reference survives the Arabic sentence

Use the fictional request reference REF-204/A beside an Arabic explanation. A customer copies the reference into an English search field. The reviewer needs to establish two different things: the Arabic sentence communicates the right event, and the copied reference still identifies the same record.

A visually awkward reference can be a direction-isolation problem rather than a storage change. Conversely, a neat display can conceal altered punctuation or characters in the stored value. Compare the original value, copied text and received search value separately. Do not repair the record by reversing its characters to make one screenshot look right.

W3C's direction guidance helps define document and inline treatment. A real implementation should use appropriate markup where available and preserve the identifier's logical order. Plain-text contexts, such as a document title or export, may need their own treatment. The exact supported rendering paths require testing.

Keep the receipt's business meaning independent

Assume REF-204/A identifies a saved request whose replacement document still awaits review. A fluent Arabic message must not imply the file has been professionally accepted. Ask a qualified reader what they believe they may do next, then compare that answer with the actual state.

Test the service page, form action, receipt and staff notification together. A careful acknowledgement cannot fully correct an earlier button that promised a stronger action. If one language tells the customer to wait and another to resend, the exception paths can create different records.

Recheck after content change

Replace the fictional document while retaining its request identity. The reference should remain REF-204/A, while edition and review state change under the agreed rules. Language display must not determine which edition receives approval.

Record the reviewed strings, source event and copy/paste result. These checks establish narrow evidence about the fixture, not professional translation certification, complete accessibility conformance or a production backend outcome.
